Chicken Shit Cornbread Dressing

If you live in the South, chances are that cornbread dressing at Thanksgiving is a holiday tradition for your family. Just to make your feast preparations easier, we thought we'd provide you an easy (and delicious!) recipe for cornbread dressing. Enjoy!

* 1 8"x8" pan of prepared cornbread (we use 2 boxes of Jiffy Mix cornbread mix, and it works great)
* 6 slices of white bread, toasted
* 1 large onion, chopped
* 3 stalks celery, coarsely chopped
* 4 eggs, beaten
* 5 cups chicken broth
* 1/4 cup butter, melted
* 1 tsp sage
* 1 Tbsp Chicken Shit
* salt and pepper, to taste

1. Preheat ove to 350°F.
2. Dump the cornbread into a large mixing bowl and crumble it with your hands into small chunks.
3. Tear the toast into small pieces and put them into the bowl with the cornbread.
4. Add the chopped onions and celery into the bowl and, using your hands, toss them with the bread mixture.
5. Sprinkle with the sage and Chicken Shit, and mix it all together.
6. In a separate bowl, mix together the chicken broth, beaten eggs, and melted butter.
7. Pour the chicken broth mixture ove the cornbread mixture. The dressing will be very moist, with almost a soupy texture.
8. Add salt and pepper, to taste; don't be too heavy with the salt, since the other ingredients already contain some salt.
9. Pour the mixture into a well-greased 9"x13" baking dish. Bake, uncovered, for about 45 minutes or so, until the dressing is firmly set, and a light golden brown.
